NEXT SHAREPOINT 2011

In 2011, SharePoint 2010 will be the life cycle of the product is responsible for the teenager. Childhood is over. It is no longer that beautiful baby, or that cute guy. Now it was obvious pimples and issues that might reveal just one year the implementation of the real world. It is also the unexpected strength and add friends. And this year, the parents kicked out of the house by Microsoft, the team prepares for SharePoint vNext. So, what is expected of those awkward teen with SharePoint 2010? Let's look at the crystal ball.



Increased Penetration and Adoption

There is no doubt that SharePoint 2010 tsunami is vague SharePoint 2007 look small. While the adoption of enterprise SharePoint 2007 and 2010 is already impressive, many organizations in neutral in their SharePoint implementations in recent years, tight budgets. Technically, I am sure that Microsoft is learning a lot of lessons in scalability and security, particularly in the new service application architecture, and it is interesting to see how a lot of features of SharePoint 2010 can be delivered BPOS-S. I am also sure that the SharePoint vNext will benefit enormously from these lessons.

Many Microsoft employees have report cards that BPOS penetration plays an important role. Fortunately, the market is also prepared to examine the tag BPOS, Blue, and other cloud solutions. But I think the passage of the cloud will be very slow. People are curious, but not sure. 2011 will be a dip your toe in the water year. The safety and profitability will be in focus

SharePoint 2010 can only be in its adolescence in the maturity of the product life cycle, but Microsoft is already planning the birth of the next version of SharePoint.a I’ll go out limb right now and dub SharePoint 2012. Why 2012? Since 2012, the end of the connotation that the world is not as strong as another battle with the number 13. Make sure you connect to Microsoft in 2011, observations have a more immediate effect, while the product is being developed as a result. They care and are listening.

I'am not going to start planning the 2012 (the year or the product) at this stage, but I must say I would be surprised if there is no native solution for geographically distributed farms, including farms hybrids that are both on site and the cloud. I'm talking about replication of the content here is late.
